I haven’t posted in a little while but I promise I have a good reason!

The last couple of months have been very hectic, but well worth all of the effort (mostly on Abi’s part rather than mine). We spent most of July running back and forth to Scarborough hospital due to worries by the maternity team at Bridlington Hospital and then being told when we get to Scarborough (as Bridlington has next to no facilities) that everything is alright.

As you can imagine it was a very frustrating month but come the 13th of august everything became worthwhile as at 2313 our little girl, Scarlett Eileena Hope decided she was going to make a very quick entrance into the world. Since then we have both been running around after the little one and getting used to our new lives. We are slowly getting there but I think it will take us a bit longer to get used to the sleepless nights followed by full workdays.

As you can imagine my blog has taken a bit of a back seat but it has not been forgotten. When I finally figure out the balance of sleep work and free time I plan to write at least one post a week. I’m still working on a project or two in the background but they have also been put on the back burner.
