I’ve managed to retrieve a fair chunk of my old content

Another Quick post this week following on from my quick post last week. Over the last two or three weeks I have been rebuilding the website, almost, from the ground up. I had a backup of a fair few of my recent posts but anything before 2022 was gone… or so I thought.

I, for some reason completely forgot about the Way Back When Machine!!! Now there’s no way that I can find to automatically pull posts into WordPress (that isn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg) so I have spent the last few evenings copying and pasting each post individually from there to here.

The posts themselves haven’t been changed in any way so expect bad spelling and grammar for a start. They also don’t have any images as they didn’t get backed up for whatever reason. Feel free to have a look through the back catalogue and let me know if you would like me to revisit anything.

Jim, with a vibrant career spanning 18 years in Customer Services and Event Production, has been on an exhilarating journey. From working in venues across the UK to being the go-to techie for some of his favorite bands, Jim’s passion for live events shines through.

He honed his skills at East Riding College, where he earned a BA in Contemporary Media, Design, and Production. These days, while he may not be as active in the live events industry, Jim keeps a watchful eye on the scene. His dream? To establish his own production house, championing local homegrown talent.

When he’s not immersed in the world of events, Jim enjoys family life with his wife and two children. And every now and then, he gets to share his intriguing discoveries through blog posts.
