Afternoon Tea, Heat Stroke & Giving Away my Apple Watch

Quite a productive day all in all

yesterday was an interesting day and the problem is I can’t tell you about the most interesting part due to an NDA agreement, which sucks but it was great to be involved all the same.

The first thing I can share with you though is that we had an amazing Afternoon Tea for 2 from Milner’s Home Made Bakery. We had a lovely few hours sat at home eating like we were posh, I did trade the cup of tea for some cordial as the heat had got to me earlier, but more on that in a bit. The sandwiches were lovely and the cakes were brilliant, and I don’t like cakes, we also had some homemade sausage rolls and pork pies that I may end up buying daily they were that good.

As I’m such a nice bloke, there’s no need to laugh, I parted with my Apple Watch and gave it to Abi. Ever since I got it she has said that she didn’t want one and couldn’t see the point but I have a feeling that is about to change. She has wanted to track how many steps she’s been taking and a few other health measurements but keeps forgetting her phone when she doing small jobs.

I’ve been looking to upgrade for a while now as the watch I gave Abi is one of the original one that can’t be upgraded anymore. I haven’t been wearing it since we’ve been in lockdown so I thought I’d let Abi have mine and get myself a new one after I’ve started work (I swear Vodafone are going to love billing me each month).

It’s been nice watching her plan with it this morning seeing what everything does, though I am starting to wonder how I will cope when I go back to work as I have found it to be really handy when I completing tasks to have them on my wrist, for example, I shouldn’t be for too long… at least I hope so.

It wasn’t all good news though. I had to run an errand yesterday and due to the heat ended up passing out on the sofa when I got back (well after stuffing my face with cake… you know to keep me going). I was only walking from our to the outskirts of the town centre and back and I ended up with a massive headache, so tired I could barely stand and I still don’t feel like I’ve been able to hydrate myself enough since then. I’m feeling much better this morning.

Well I’m off to B&Qs website to find the bits I missed and need to complete the bathroom floor. but let me know in the comments bellow if you’ve suffered from the sun already this summer or what you have been up to since getting out of your lockdown.
